I have read all of Stacey Halls’ previous novels and so was thrilled to be offered an advanced copy of her latet book, The Household.

Mrs England is the third novel by Stacey Halls. I’ve read both her previous works, The Familiars and The Foundling, and really enjoyed them both. I really like Stacey Halls’s style of writing so I was really excited to read her newest book.

The Foundling is Stacey Halls’ second novel, published in 2020. Stacey Halls is a Sunday Times bestselling author known for her compelling novels that seamlessly blend historical fiction and mystery.

The Familiars is the debut novel by fellow northerner Stacey Halls, published in 2019. It went on to be a bestseller and was a Richard and Judy Book Club pick in 2019.

I was keen to know more about the notorious witch trials that swept the north of England in the 17th century and couldn’t wait to read the novel described as “historical fiction at its feminist best” by Red Magazine.
