Kristin Hannah’s books are always hugely popular and with good reason. She’s an exceptional storyteller and I’ve never read a book by her I’ve not loved.

The majority of her books are not in a series and so it’s obviously not necessary to read all the Kristin Hannah books in order. However, she has written two novels in the Firefly Lane series which should be read in order.

Who is Kristin Hannah?

Kristin Hannah is a New York times bestselling author who tells the stories of women and their families. From the Alaskan wilderness, World War II in France, the Dust Bowl and beyond, Kristin Hannah takes the reader on real adventures alongside her relatable heroines.

The Nightingale is a phenomenal historical novel. It was an international bestseller and was named Goodreads Best Historical fiction novel for 2015. It also won the People’s Choice award for best fiction and Wall Street Journal Best Book of the Year. Meanwhile, The Four Winds was a Richard and Judy Book Club pick in 2022.

Firefly Lane was a huge hit and has been adapted into a Netflix series starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke.

One of the more recent Kristin Hannah books, The Great Alone, is one of my favourite novels of all time.

What is Kristin Hannah’s New Book?

In 2023, Kristin Hannah released Another Life as an ebook and audiobook only. The hardback isn’t due to be released until 2025. The book has previously been published under the name The Thing We Do For Love.

In February 2024, Kristin Hannan’s newest book The Women was published. The Women focuses on women who volunteered as nurses during the Vietnam War.
