The Richard and Judy book club list for April 2021 has been released! The Richard and Judy Book Club Spring 2021 List was full of great titles, and the April summer list also seems to have a great mixture of authors and genres. A couple of the books I’ve already heard great things about whereas the others are new to me. I can’t wait to discover them all!

Because of You by Dawn French

Moonflower Murders by Anthony Horowitz

The Miseducation of Evie Epworth by Matson Taylor

The Miseducation of Evie Epworth is the debut novel by Matson Taylor. It was a Radio 2 book club pick and Waterstones describes it as a “rich triumph of comic writing”.

Synopsis

Set in 1962, sixteen-year-old Evie Epworth stands on the cusp of womanhood and is trying to decide what direction her future will take. But, before she can decide on a career, she must first deal with the presence of her manipulative future step-mother, rescue her father from her clutches and save the farmhouse from being sold off. Perhaps then she may be able to move on with her own life and finally work out exactly who it is she is meant to be.

The Whole Truth by Cara Hunter

The Whole Truth is the fifth story in Cara Hunter’s series of police procedurals featuring DI Fawley. Despite the book being part of a series, the book can easily be read as a stand-alone novel.

Synopsis

The Pull Of The Stars by Emma Donoghue

Emma Donoghue is the bestselling author of Room, the novel that was shortlisted for both the Man Booker Prize and the Orange Prize. The Pull Of The Stars is her latest novel
