I have read all of Stacey Halls’ previous novels and so was thrilled to be offered an advanced copy of her latet book, The Household.

The Night Circus was the debut novel Erin Morgenstern. It was released back in 2011 and has been on my radar for a while but I’ve only just got around to reading it.

Once Upon A River is the latest novel by Diane Setterfield, released in 2018. Setterfield is also the author of The Thirteenth Tale, which was a huge success.

I recently read two books set in the 19th Century, Godmersham Park and A Lady’s Guide To Fortune Hunting. I loved them both and was keen to head back to the regency period so I decided to read The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow which has been on my bookshelf for a while. Pride and Prejudice is my favourite book of all time. It’s the ultimate in comfort reading. I was therefore intrigued to read The Other Bennet Sister, as it offered the story of the often ignored Bennet sister, Mary.
