Things We Hide From the Light Book Review
Things We Hide from the Light is a decent continuation of the Knockemout series, though I found it a bit too long for my liking. While the story had its moments, it felt slow in places and didn’t quite live up to the first book.
That said, I still love the small-town setting of Knockemout and enjoyed seeing familiar faces pop up throughout the story. Lucy Score excels at creating characters that feel real, with all their flaws and fears.
The dynamic between Nash’s brooding charm and Lina’s independent spirit was a highlight, and I appreciated how their relationship focused not just on the chemistry between them but also on deeper themes of healing and learning to trust again.
Overall, while not as strong as the first book, it’s still worth a read if you enjoyed Things We Never Got Over and love small-town romance with well-developed characters.
